Probably when the weather gets cold, but what about in the summer. I saw a woman with a sock on her toes and an open toe sandal. Looked *****.

In summer yes most people leave it open, and as far as I can think, even in winter, the most you could do it put a sock on… unless you have some really loose uggs or something.

I recently got out of a full leg cast after 4 months. I covered my toes only once while watching my nephew play outdoor soccer and the weather was damp and cold. I have always loved to wear sandals with and without a heel and spend considerable time keeping my feet and toes nice. I would consider it a cardinal sin to cover the toes in my cast.

Almost never, except to tease. Guys notice when you are “adjusting” it. Casts are a good way to show off a great pedicure and bright polish.
