How can you make your high heels comfortable?

high heels
bonnieb119 asked:

I see women wearing their high heels all day, and I have no idea how they can walk in them all day and still be comfortable. I’ve bought pads, which help a little bit, but they’re not perfect. Any suggestions? Thanks!

You can get no slip inserts which make them even more comfy. And I also use Mole skin (Dr. Scholls brand i think) for any spots that the shoe rubs on. One side is an adhesive to stick to your foot while the other side feels like a felt material. It works for me.
    Good luck!

The best thing to do is firstly choose heels that are not more than 4 inches high. Then always, always make sure your shoes are a perfect fit or a size larger than you’d normally wear. thirdly make sure you are walking properly in your heels. knowing how to wear your heels properly will make it a whole lot easier to wear them. Gel pads also help.

    Hope I helped!

Try breaking the new shoes at home, wearing them about 3 or 4 hours a day walking around the house. Wear heels only if you know where you’ll be all day long (at work in the office, for example, or at a party). I would have a very practical pair of ballerina type flats in my bag, on the off chance I’d need them.
Quality pays a big part in keeping your feet from getting long term damage so choose a pair that is cushioned inside. It will help.
Walking in heels takes practice. You need to put down your foot on your heel first.
I’m toying with the idea of buying ballroom dancing pumps. They seem to give plenty of room to the foot and are very flexible, as well as being part of the look I’m aiming at having this winter (hollywood vintage glamor circa 1930’s.)
