How do I tell a real from fake Gucci Fedora hat?

I am selling a Gucci hat I just recieved and I am not crazy about it. I just need to know if it is real or not. The tag on the inside says “Made in Italy” and I am preety sure that if it was fake it would say “Made in China”. Also, how much should I sell it for. It is a brand new hat. Thanks!

Fakes can be made in Italy, and things made in China can say “Made in Italy.”
How much did you pay? If it was a steal, you were probably taken.

Take it to Saks fifth avenue or Neiman marcus and have it authenticated. Its the only way to tell. Go to the gucci section. Do a search on ebay and see what they are selling for.
