How do you get shoes dyed?

Is this possible? Where can I get it done? and as they got a bit dirty on the day would they need to be cleaned first?

i know payless shoe stores has shoes you can get dyed but i dont know if they will dye shoes that werent bought in the store…if not then ask for the company who dyes the shoes for them and see if they could do them for you

A local shoe repair place can usually do this for you.
