My friend just had one pair ordered from Jimmy Choo Couture & she didn’t dare to tell her husband. A normal pair of JC cost around £300-£400. Why is she so parinoid, does a pair from Couture cost that much more.

Shoes from Jimmy Choo Shop have been known to reach about £600 she may of brought that certain pair, also it may not be something to do with the cost it may be to do with her husband may have asked her to cut back on spending.

I don’t think there is a certain “couture” version of the Jimmy Choo brand. I think it may be just the style of shoe. They vary by price according to materials and detail. I think that she didn’t want to tell her husband just for they plain simple fact that they are REALLY expensive. I know I wouldn’t be caught dead $plurging that much for shoes, I wouldn’t ever be able to afford it anyway! lol
Although, I saw a pair of Jimmy’s (Damon) black bejewled sling backs at Saks for $960. Maybe she got some even though she is way over her budget!!

From looking at some of the auctions for these shoes, even in used condition, it is easy to see how your friend could have exceeded her shopping budget and wanted to keep the expense a secret. It may also be that they are in financial distress and this is definitely a luxury item.
