Is it normal for high heels not to have arch support?
Cindy L asked:
Is it normal for high heels (four inches) not to have arch support? Are my feet just shaped funny? And does anyone know of any products that have padding designed for arch support in heels? I feel like if my heels had arch support it would be a lot more comfortable and less pressure on the balls of my feet?

nah they generaly don’t have any support at all. best to buy the new inserts that you can stick on your insole to provide cushion. doesn’t support the arch but will add gel cushion to your ball and heel

Higher quality shoes have arch support in their high heels. You have to shop around.
You can also buy arch support inserts.

Unfortunately, yes, most high heels have little to no true arch support. However, there is an answer!! There is only one insole that I know of that supposedly is designed specifically for what you’re asking. Check out
These are being incorporated in some of the higher end heels to help them wear better. From what I’ve seen online they really do help a LOT!! (No, I don’t work for them…And I get any payment from them either!! )
