My wife’s outfit for work today – She wore a skirt, suntan pantyhose, and open toe sandals – Is that ‘weird’?

open toe sandals
phguy34 asked:

I happen to love women’s legs in pantyhose, and ask her to wear them all the time.
She wears them at least 2 or 3 days per week for work but usually wears closed toe heels. But I love the look of pantyhose with open toe shoes (as long as the pantyhose are sheer and the toe is sheer – NOT re-enforced! – yuk!).
So today, she was running behind and just grabbed a pair of open toe sandals for work – with hose on).
I said “wow, now THAT’S a nice outfit”. She said she’d bet that people will comment about it.
I just called her and she said one of her women co-workers joked with her and said she shouldn’t be wearing hose with sandals, but I asked her to pay close attention to some of the men. She said she actually noticed a bunch of men looking, then looking again. She also noticed a few guys making multiple trips past her desk, and looking everytime.

Would women would be more willing to wear something like this because many men find this attractive?
How many guys like this?

Wearing pantyhose with open toe shoes is a fashion no-no. Ewww I **** that look! Sorry buddy but that does not look good and not a bit fashionable. I went to a fashion school and hey I am no expert but come on!

Pantyhose are SOOOOOOOO outdated (only Grannies wear pantyhose now) and certainly should never be worn with open-toed sandals. Pantyhose ****** aside, they are hot, uncomfortable and never seem to fit right. I’ve quit jobs because of having to wear pantyhose. YUCK!

you are right about only onething womens legs do look nice in pantyhose. but that is so 28yrs ago. and do you no why they are not comfy, and i would not want to wear them in the summer to hot, and never with open toes re-enforced or not. and are you sure they where checking her out or roumors started and everyone just wanted to see if it was true!!!!

Wow I think that is a very classy and **** look. Hose make legs look better that bare legs. Wearing hose with an outfit make the women look more professional. I would take multiple trips to her desk and compliment her on her outfit. More girls should be women and dress like a woman should

I think it’s great, as long as it’s the sheer toe style. It is a bit tacky when they are the reinforced toes kind. I believe they used to call the sheer toe ones sandal foot or something like that?

It’s even better if they have their toes painted with some **** nail color too.

I’m convinced that women would like and wear pantyhose more often if they’d buy the good quality ones with lycra/spandex in them and buy the right size so they’d fit properly. Ladies you do know they come in sizes for a reason?

your wife needs to invest in some toeless panty hose. hanes makes some. They are specifically for the purpose of wearing with open toed shoes. Never wear the normal style with sandals are any other open toe shoes. I wore the toesless kind with peep toe heels to a wedding in a color as close to my skin color as I could find. nobody except for me knew any better.

I don’t wear panty hose for men. I find them to be cruel torture devices. I am more of a **** jeans gal myself with a nice pair of heels.

I can’t say I’m a big fan of women wearing open toe shoes with pantyhose. If you are going to do so, at least wear sheer toe hose like your wife did. I’m sure there are plenty of women that will call that a fashion faux paw, but I’m just happy your wife wore pantyhose at all. Not enough women do these days. I don’t think it has anything to do with shoes. Ladies, wear pantyhose and guys will take notice!

American women in general have abandoned hosiery – and it is a VERY bad thing. If you do go bare you really need to have great skin tone, young legs free of unsightly veins, no cottage cheese thighs, nice pedicure – and shapely legs to begin with. Only maybe 1 in 10 women I see meet this criteria. And business owners take note – when I see a woman dressed without hose in your office and they don’t look good it really reflects on your company and company image.

The reason why the guys were stopping by and looking was to see if they could tell your wife was wearing hose by looking at her toes (to see if they can see the nylon in between the toes). All men who love seeing women in hosiery look down to a woman’s feet to see if they can tell. It is very enticing. Trust me, if a guy really thought she looked weird they wouldn’t come back to look repeatedly – we generally don’t care to look twice at something we don’t like.

Had a friend come back from Europe and she definitely felt undressed when she visited. Definitely more hose and classy dress style there (still). Plus it is marketed there specifically for open toe shoes – take a look at the Wolford site under legwear classics – Luxe 9 collection

“for the perfect appearance even in open-toe shoes”

Pantyhose is just more professional than bare legs. If you are going to wear open toe shoes, you can buy toeless pantyhose.
