YES, you want to look clean and respectable for church! Just wear closed toe shoes.

I think the open toe sandals should be okay, as long as you’re wearing respectable clothing and accessories…toenail polish isn’t that noticeable and it might look like a nice little touch…then again, what exactly do you mean by ‘bright?’ If they’re super bright and funky, then I’d go with the stockings

If you want to show off your toenails, or at least not cover them up, then you should not feel ashamed to do so.
God does not care what color your toenails are. God only cares about what is in your heart – no matter what people (and the preacher is a person – the preacher is not God) may say and think.
