When you worked retail, did your whole outfit have to be of the latest season?

I’m particularly interested in working for Banana Republic, but I don’t want to break bank, so I might reconsider if I have to dress head to toe especially if it has to be every season.

    Yes at most clothing stores it is a requirement, as you are then advertising their clothing, so if someone likes something you are wearing you can point it out to them, sale made!
    Although they usually offer from 30-50% off stock so you can wear it, but they may have a limit on the amount of discounts a month.
