Dillard's and Macy's both carry the latest shoes and also more classic styles. Since wedges and peep toe are pretty big right now, you might have a limited selection of closed-toe heels without a stiletto, but at larger department stores you should have a few to choose from. Try to go during the week, when a salesperson will have more time to help you find what you are looking for. Good luck!
