Why are Jimmy Choo shoes so expensive?

I don’t understand this. Why would someone pay over $500 for a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes? I took a look at their shoes online and I can find similar styles for much much less. What’s so great about them?

and they buy them because it is a designer brand.

they are designer shoes. there are shirts for $3000 and even more. so compared its not that much

Because they are handmade and it takes about 3 days just to make one shoe. Not to mention, they had to get their designer label.

Its pretty much the label and bragging rights. Sad but true, and I would most likely buy something expensive, just to say you have it. I’m sure people also buy them for quality and style as well.

people pay that much money for one pair of shoes for the name. i was talking to my aunt and i was telling her how i want a Tiffany necklace and she told me that you could buy a necklace just like it for way cheaper. people just buy it for the name, so they can say, oh look at my jimmy choo shoes, or my Tiffany necklace. or maybe while there are dying children in Africa with AIDS, instead of donating $500 to save lives, they want to waste it on a pair of shoes.

Its the fact that they’re Jimmy Choos, knowing that will make you feel great, you get to brag to other people, they look great, they’re good quality and you get to keep the bag they came in for carrying around stuff, hence more showing off.

-they are hand made
- They are designer shoes
- And they are pretty
- They are also made out of expensive fabric ..such as leather etc.
- It takes about 3 days to make ONE shoe ( not pair just one shoe)
- Everyone Loves these kind of shoes-boots-sandals-pumps
-Since They know that everyone loves them ..They make it expensive so everyone will buy them for WAY mroe then they actually cost.
