Looking to get a job as SA@ banana rep. gap AE ect?
llcooljerad asked:
What can I expect as pay in the Santa Barbara area? Do these places offer commision based salary? The places I saw hirring were Express, Bath and body works, Brookstone, Gap, Banana Republic, American Eagle Chicos, Footlocker and Victoria’s Secret. I am a male college freshmen and am looking for a p/t job about 15-20 hours a week and am hoping to make 175-200 a week. I figuered the best thing would be to go to all the restuarants around here and work as a buss boy up to server since I have serving experience. But I would like to get a degree in business and want to start getting experience in sales if I can since I have a passion for it. I think all these places would be fun to start at particularly Ban.Rep./gap since I am very into fashion but I think there pay wont be able to support me, unless they do comisions.
Any help or advice would be great at the end of the day I really just need a job soon.

No, Gap and Banana Republic are not commissioned jobs. Pay is generally based on past experience along with going rate in the area IE. California would have a higher starting rate vs Iowa. Hope this helps.
P. S.
Working for Gap is a great job

I think telemarketing has better options being your mind is expanded on the liberal arts and by selecting a promotional certainly wouldn’t hurt build up you resume if selecting a business major as an example. Why settle for less, that’s what the rest are doing!
