Ladies, which is more important to you when choosing shoes: Quality or Style?
William J asked:
Manolo Blahnik, Bandalino, Eva Picone, Jimmy Choo. All of these high-end shoes scream ‘fashion,’ but would you trade a fashionable shoe for one that lasts? Have you ever purchased a shoe just because it was fashionable but didn’t last long?

i would say style cuz it has to match my outfit and shoes could make ur outfit look dressy or layback.

Who cares about the fashion I want what’s comfortable. I have to wear them all day. If you can find fashion and comfort great.

Both but I won’t buy those “Brand names”. I like shoes from Aldo and Transit that are quality but don’t cost as much as those brand name. (Up to a $100).

Both would be good. No i haven’t baught something just because it was fashionable. Ok i baught rainbows because everyone wore them. But i love them and they last years

Who says fashionable shoes don’t last… I have loads of expensive shoes and they have lasted waaaay longer than ones I’ve bought on the cheap!

def. quality because if you have a high quality shoe, then it’s bound to have some style.

Style, but nothing that costs that much. Walmart has some good shoes for way less. That are comfy, has style. and will last along time !

i hate to admit it back style always comes first no matter what the cost. don’t beat yourself up over it because i think it’s one of those women things.

First off, I have never purchased any of those brands of shoes, mostly because they don’t sell them in my small town and if they did, I don’t have the dosh to dole out $300 for a pair of shoes.
The most I have ever spent on shoes is $75 for a pair of Teva sandals, because they are functional and comfortable.
I haven’t purchased shoes because they were “in fashion” since Jr. High school.
Guess I’m just a small town, country girl.

It depends upon when and where I will wear the shoe. So if I am going to a social function with formal dress, I would choose a fashionable shoe. If I was going to go hiking, I would choose a quality shoe, designed for walking.

In the back of my mind i know that it should be the quality of the shoe and not the latest fashion or telling whether it is fashionable or not, but honestly i would go for style. shame on me.

When I was younger I liked fashionable shoes, but I never had the center of balance to wear really high heels, so I went for quality.
Now that I’m older it’s comfort and that the shoe fits well. I may not look sexy but my feet don’t hurt either.

For me, it really depends.
One time I bought some shoes from the mall that were really cute, but they were uncomfortable and they definately didn’t last very long. Now, I only buy shoes that I know will last a little longer and they have to be comfortable. As for the style, I have really made myself back away.
Some shoes are beautiful, but they will cause you to hurt yourself. Hope this is what you were looking for!!

I purchase shoes because its what I like and comfortable not because it’s in style… I find that whenever I purchase something because it’s in style be it a shoe or a piece of clothing I end up not wearing it and wasting my money. And I don’t have money to waste. so it depends on the shoe if it is comfortable and I like it. ask yourself what am I looking for in a shoe and go from there…

QUALITY! I don’t want my shoes to be falling apart on me after only having them for a few months. That’s like throwing money away to me.

the styple.. who cars if its quality the point is you have the shoes that everyone wants and likes … when ppl reconize your shoes.. the shoes almot scream out that u are modern care about style and can afford what u desire

I say both because you want to be comfortable in what you are wearing but you also want it to look stylish.
