Is it ok to go over your credit limit on your credit card once?
I want to buy a few pairs of Jimmy Choo shoes online and I have to put my credit card info to do that. It’s going to be about $250.00 over my current credit limit. I have the money in cash, but since I have to use my credit card, I was wondering if going over the limit by $250 is allowed. And, if I pay it off right away in full, is that ok or will it hurt my credit score?

I paid full price for a fake Jimmy Choo bag! Can anyone help me verify?
I purchased a Jimmy Choo handbag on eBay for $900 only to find out it was fake. It’s ILLEGAL to sell counterfeit/replicas, and needless to say, not allowed on eBay. Ebay has a team that identifies these and removes the auctions, but the auction i won was one of the few that got by undetected.
The seller ADMITS that its a fake, but claims that it was not TECHNICALLY advertised as authentic, therefore she does not grant the refund. Even though the auction never explicitly claimed the bag was authentic, it was extremely misleading and had false information like “Made in Italy” (when the fakes are manufactured in Taiwan) and “retails for $1600!”
I filed a claim with Paypal to get my money back and even though the seller admits its a fake, I need to fax paypal PROOF from an “unbiased and relevant 3rd-party” on company letter-head verifying that it’s fake and why. It needs to be faxed to paypal with my case # by Monday or else I lose my money.
I called emailed and called Jimmy Choo customer service and was told that its against their company policy to provide such a service because it apparently “promotes the purchase of counterfeits”. None of the associates at one of their boutiques would help me, and the manager of the handbag department at a Nordstroms didn’t have access to company letter head to help me…
What do i do!?!? Can anyone help me?!?
Do you like fancy purses?
What’s the most money you’ve paid for an item of clothing?
I’m thinking of selling designer clothes & I just wanted to get an idea of how many of you out there are interested in high end. And how high end? The most I’ve ever spent on jeans was $320 but they’re still my favorite pair. Some people will spend $1500 on a Ralph Lauren sun dress. Not me.
So, there’s a pretty big difference in designer clothes. I pay more for jeans & tops but I never buy expensive shoes. How much do you consider your limit for certain items? Some people have a handbag fetish, some are into Jimmy Choo’s. What’s your thing?
And if you could tell me your favorites designers . . . I like True Religion and Rock & Republic for jeans so this is what I was thinking of selling but if you could tell me what you like best, it would help me. Joe’s Jeans, Hudson, Frankie B, Juicy Couture . . . or would you go more expensive like Gucci, Armani, Ferragamo, Dolce & Gabanna, etc.?
PLEASE STAR THIS FOR ME. I DIDN’T GET ENOUGH ANSWERS LAST TIME TO HELP ME. THANKS!
