Help! How to get sticker residue off bottom of suede shoe?

Please I need help desperately, I am giving my mom a pair of shoes she has aways wanted. When I ordered the Jimmy Choos they arrived with a price sticker on bottom of one shoe. The bottoms odf these shoes are a fawn colored suede like material not hard leather!! When I scraped off tag now there is a square where it has like a sticky, tacky residue and you can tell the tag was there because it is lighter in color!! Can someone tell me how to get it off so it won’t be noticeable?? I just want them to be perfect. I tried putting the sticker back on but now it wont stick! I only have one day and these are her dream shoes! I cant exchange they are out of shoe and I have no time!! Please help!! Thanks soooooooo much!!
