how much of a rebate will I get if im an 18 yr old with a part time job?

I work at banana republic make 9$ an hour…I’ll only have made a lil under 1k since i just started working in February…so…am I entitled to 300$ from the upcoming tax rebate?

    If you’re not living on your own yet (from what you’ve said, it looks like you couldn’t afford to), then your parents will have claimed you on their taxes and they will get money for raising you.

    What upcoming rebate? It has not been passed by Congress nor signed by President Bush. No one knows the details yet!

    This bill still needs to be passed by the Senate but as it stands today (not likely) you would not personally get a rebate for 2 reasons.
    1) As stated before your parents probably claim you as a dependent and they will get an additional $300 for you.
    2)The current bill gives rebates only to those that have earned at least $3,000 even if they do not have tax liabilities.
