going to the prom: what colored sandals should i wear with my emerald green knee length dress?
DD asked:
dress: emerald green, knee length, heart shaped strapless, circular bunch of clear,green,orange-ish “emeralds” in center between bosom
dress: emerald green, knee length, heart shaped strapless, circular bunch of clear,green,orange-ish “emeralds” in center between bosom
shoe choices: 1) 3 inch gold strap open toe/pump-ish Chinese Laundry sandals 2) 2 inch slide on tan/bronze open toe sandals with green, orange-ish, yellowish “emeralds” in the center
the gold ones are about 70 bucks while the bronze ones are 30, but i am concerned about the straps since i will be dancing, but money is also an issue, and i think the bronze ones match the dress better…

number two hon, less of a heel will be more comfortable for all night danching. The “emeralds” will go well with the “emeralds” in the dress.

I would try them on and move around a bit and go with what is more comfortable. Just my opinion.

I think the bronze ones will match much better. The emeralds and green colors will suit the dress. And sounds like the price is right too!
Good luck and have fun at the prom!

I’m with the majority on this one. Everything points to #2. Have a good time!
